Pains me to write this, but extremely disappointed in this Arcade "Guide" belt. I thought a belt with a name like "Guide" it would indeed be a great backcountry belt for backcountry activities like hiking, skiing, snowboarding etc ... Alas the belt constantly loosens (significantly) throughout the activity requiring me to constantly have to stop the activity and tighten it. That may not seem like a big deal but it gets frustrating really quick. Especially when the belt was nearly $40. I own a few Arcade belts and this one unfortunately rarely if ever gets worn anymore. The yellow paint on the metal buckle is also coming off after a very short period of time. Would not recommend this model of Arcade belt.

I love these belts. I've been using the same Guide belt everyday for about two years now and while it's experienced some wear and tear, it's still holding up my pants, and my tool bag. I read a lot of reviews that say their belts aren't doing the job, and my best advice is to pull your belt until it's tight, and then tuck the end behind itself so it doesn't go anywhere. That little detail is the only reason I'm giving four stars. But once it's tucked, it's a five star belt all day.
I want to love this belt but I have to constantly tighten it because the clasp is based on friction and simply doesn't work. I think all the positive reviews are based on short usage
I own a few Arcade belts and this one holds up the best. It’s plain and simple, not decorative like my other belts, but gets the job done. This is my favorite belt at the moment.
Working in landscaping and in trees, this belt is easily adjustable and low profile enough to not get in the way. Beat belt I've ever owned.
