Getting the right fit on your Motion Belt doesn’t just make it more comfortable— it also gives you that clean, dialed-in look that sets our adjustable belts apart. Whether you just picked up your first Motion Stretch Belt or need a quick refresher, here’s a quick guide to how to size a belt like a pro.
Watch along with our step-by-step video or follow the quick instructions below:
1. Unbuckle the Belt
Start by unbuckling the Motion Belt so it’s flat and easy to work with. This gives you access to both ends and lets you make a clean adjustment without fighting the buckle.
2. Find Your Sweet Spot
Wrap the belt around your waist just like you would normally wear it— through your belt loops if you want to be precise. Pinch where the belt feels just right. This is your sweet spot, and it’s where you’ll want the belt to sit once you adjust the length.
3. Adjust Your Length
Now the key move: pull the webbing at a 90-degree angle away from the buckle. This motion unlocks the grip of the teeth so you can easily slide the webbing to your desired length.
4. Tuck the Tail
Once you've dialed in the perfect fit, tuck the tail into the belt keeper for a clean, secure finish. No flapping ends, no bulk—just a neat fit that moves with you.
5. Buckle Up (Buckle End First)
Lastly, feed the buckle end through your belt loops first. It’s slimmer and smoother, making it easier to thread through your pants— especially when you're in a hurry.
