I have been using Atlas
"I have been using Atlas belts exclusively for many years. Always bought the adventure belts, which are excellent, but a bit too casual for formal use. This Aero Mag belt solves that problem; you can match it to literally anything. So I will just buy this one going forward. The mag buckle snaps together nicely when you are putting it on. Taking it off is not one handed though, at least for me. No big deal as I have two hands. Arcade should probably stop marketing it as one handed as most people probably won't need this feature even if it worked."
I have worn Arcade belts
"I have worn Arcade belts daily for years, so I was excited to try this new one. The buckle is really easy to use and feels noticeably more premium than my older belts. The updated material also feels higher quality overall. What I like most is that it looks a little more refined, which is great because Arcade belts are basically all I wear. If I have to dress up for something like a wedding, this one does not feel out of place. At the same time it still has the classic Arcade durability. I just leave it in my pants and throw everything in the wash like I always do. That is one of my favorite things about Arcade belts."

i have two other styles

"The magnet belt was described as 1. 5” wide. Before ordering I check my favorite trousers and confirmed the belt loops were 1. 5” wide. However when I received the belt it turns out the buckle is 1. 63” wide and passes through only with extreme difficulty. I feel as tjouhh I was mislead."
Not One Handed?
"The one handed magnetic buckle operation was the appeal of this model. Unfortunately the only consistent way I could find to open the belt was to push the buckle into itself to slide it open, and it's too difficult to do that one handed. Try to push one handed, the whole belt twists and turns with no leverage to undo the magnet. Two handed works fine but then why not get any other model."
Q&A
- Any idea when you will make a slim belt? Also if I want a custom belt where I can ask you guy to add a strong very thin stainless steel o-ring on the belt that fit perfectly on around the belt strap webbing before the buckle get put on, so that the thin o-ring can’t come off and can be used to hook any keychain onto the o-ring, can or will i be able to ask you guys to do that and pay extra for that custom?
- Hey Jared, Good question. We do offer slim belts now depending on the model, but at the moment Adventure Mag doesn't have a slim plan in place. For the custom O ring idea, that’s something that would need to be done aftermarket. We are not able to produce single custom belts like that. - Any chance you can make the buckle down to W. 1.4? instead of 1.65?
- Hey Jared, Great questions, unfortunately this isn't possible yet, but let us explain why! The Adventure Mag line only comes in a standard width right now, which means the belt webbing itself is 1.5" wide. The webbing needs to weave through the buckle on both ends, and with enough support so that it remains an extremely durable product, so this is why the buckle width is 1.65". However, hopefully we can come out with a slim version of Adventure Mag in the near future for you!
- Has anyone checked to see if this sets off metal detectors? I love the plastic Arcade belts because I can wear them through the airport or to sports games and not set anything off, and while I love the concept of easy magnetic pants support... having to get wanded at minimum is a pain!
- Hey Jon, Absolutely, all of our Mag belts have been thoroughly tested and deemed to be travel friendly! This is an important feature at Arcade and to our customers, so we made sure!
