Our belt webbing is made of 85% post-consumer recycled REPREVE®️ polyester and 15% rubber. REPREVE® is the leading brand of recycled performance yarn, and gives waste a second life by repurposing post-consumer plastic bottles into high grade performance material. Our webbing has been tested extensively to ensure uncompromised performance and durability, while making far less of an impact on the environment.

What is RECCO® technology and why does it matter on a belt?

RECCO® reflectors work with rescue teams' detector systems to help locate you in the backcountry. The reflector is built into the belt, requires no battery, and never needs to be activated.

Is the buckle metal-free?

Yes. The buckle is metal-free, making this belt a great choice for travel, ski lifts, or anywhere you want to move through security without removing your belt.

What is the webbing made from?

The webbing is made from recycled REPREVE® polyester, so it's built from post-consumer recycled materials without sacrificing durability or stretch.

How do I wash this belt?

Toss it in the washing machine. It's also safe to machine dry, so care is simple and straightforward.

Does the belt have any give or is it rigid?

It stretches. The webbing has built-in performance stretch so it moves with you whether you're hiking, sitting, or on the go all day.

"This thing is rad. There are two RECCO reflectors on each side of the belt. I bought it for skiing to have reflectors for search and rescue to find me in the event of an avalanche. You see RECCO reflectors on jackets and pants now but #1 I'd rather have more reflectors than less #2 jackets and pants are $600+. This gives that accessibility at a reasonable price. The other summer side is that search and rescue still use RECCO for summer rescues. backpacking, hunting, boating, I'd rather be seen. O and. . . it's a the best belt on the planet."

Does it come in a size big enough for a 42”-44” waist?
Hello, Unfortunately this one currently only comes in standard length at the moment, which is meant to fit a 24-38" waist.
Will this work if I am wearing my backpack hip belt over the REECO reflectors on the belt?
Hey Collin, Great questions! RECCO does work under clothing, additional materials, etc. Depending on the thickness of the hip belt it will still work, but RECCO may have reduced effectiveness.
