Our belt webbing is made of 85% post-consumer recycled REPREVE®️ polyester and 15% rubber. REPREVE® is the leading brand of recycled performance yarn, and gives waste a second life by repurposing post-consumer plastic bottles into high grade performance material. Our webbing has been tested extensively to ensure uncompromised performance and durability, while making far less of an impact on the environment.

What is the Carto belt made from?

The webbing is made from recycled REPREVE® polyester, so you're getting a durable, stretch belt built from recycled materials.

Does the Carto have any metal parts?

No. The Carto is fully metal-free, making it a great choice for travel, airport security, or any time you want to skip the metal detector hassle.

How does the buckle work?

The buckle is micro-adjustable and contoured for comfort. It feeds the webbing inward for a clean look and is designed to sit without pinching.

What widths does the Carto come in?

Hey Jon, Correct, witht he exception of the new Motion and Hardware Alu belt models, all of our belt buckles are made out of POM which is a very durable hard plastic. Our metal-free belts are perfect for travel (no more removing your belt at TSA), suitable for people with metal allergies, and made from the aforementioned POM, which is more reliable than metal in many cases, and will never rust. Hey Again Karl, All of our belts stretch, but some do more than others! The Utility Collection features 2 models of belt (Hardware and Hardware Alu) which use what we call "Stiff Performance Stretch Webbing". These belts stretch much less than any of our other models, because they are meant to be able to carry weight. It would be tough to hang a drill off of one of our Performance Stretch Adventure Belts!
