How to Adjust my Adventure Mag Belt
If you're adjusting your Adventure Mag belt for the first time, this guide will show you exactly how to do it. Adventure Mag uses our SwiftLock™ magnetic buckle system with a secure tension-lock design, so it may take a little more effort during the first adjustment—but once you dial in your fit, it's built to stay put.

Quick Start: Adjusting Your Belt
-
Clip the buckle together first.
The magnets help guide the buckle halves together. -
Hold the belt in front of you.
Grip the belt by the connected buckle so the webbing hangs freely. -
Pull the webbing at a 90° angle.
Pull the loose webbing straight away from the buckle, not along the belt. -
Adjust to your preferred fit.
Pull until the belt fits comfortably. -
Wear as normal.
Once adjusted, the belt should maintain this size throughout the day.
Tip: If the belt isn't moving, check your pull angle. The webbing must be pulled away from the buckle at roughly a 90° angle.
Why the Adventure Mag Belt Feels Different to Adjust
Adventure Mag belts feature an integrated webbing-to-buckle design that prevents the webbing from slipping during movement.
Many belts loosen throughout the day when you bend, twist, hike, or sit. Adventure Mag is engineered specifically to avoid that problem.
Because of this design, the first adjustment may take a little more effort—but once set, the belt should stay in place without constant tightening.
SwiftLock™ Magnetic Buckle
Embedded magnets guide the buckle halves together quickly and allow easy one-handed connection.
Tension-Lock System
Once connected, two low-profile buckle hooks are engaged from the tension applied while wearing Adventure Mag - a proprietary buckle design that securely boosts the adjustment of the webbing so the belt maintains its exact fit.
Adventure Mag Adjustment FAQ
Why is my Adventure Mag belt tough to adjust?
Adventure Mag uses an integrated webbing-to-buckle design that prevents the webbing from slipping during movement. Because of this secure design, adjusting the belt may require a little more effort at first.
Why won't the belt slide when I pull it?
Make sure you're pulling the webbing away from the buckle at a 90° angle. Pulling along the belt won't allow adjustment—the webbing needs to be pulled straight out from the buckle to move.
Do I need to adjust the belt often?
Most users only need to adjust their Adventure Mag belt once. The design of the magnetic buckle and its webbing integration ensures the exact fit of your Adventure Mag belt is maintained in all your daily activities.
Will the belt loosen during movement?
No. The belt is specifically designed to stay secure while bending, hiking, or moving. Once set, it holds.
Is the magnetic buckle secure?
Yes. The magnets guide the buckle together, while the SWIFTLOCK™ tension-lock design keeps the belt securely locked in.
